  2. I did something similar with my handful of RTI kids last year. It is a lot of data to sort through! What is it that you'll be looking for in the RTI data?

Please follow my blog and leave me some feedback. Thank you!

  3. Well, my focus will be on our retention students in the RTI program this year. We have a few students that were retain and will start in the RTI program from the beginning of school. I will be able to follow their progress more closely than if I covered all RTI students in general. I am looking to see if their assignments, quizzes, and test scores improve overall base on our 9 weeks grading periods by participating in the RTI program.

  4. After looking over your Action Research steps I realized I did mine completely wrong, and resubmitted on our assignments AND on my blog!! Your idea for the letter to parents is great. We are also trying to get parents more involved in this process on our campus. They usually aren't invited to RTI meetings even though it's their child we are trying to help! A form, parent letter sounds helpful. Also naming differentiated instruction or curriculum will be beneficial to the teachers. We went through a whole year of moving kids up on Tiers and working with them, only to have the question asked about the specific differentiated curriculum. Many of us did tutoring or corrections...not using a "specified" curriculum. I'm sure your teachers will appreciate your help with that!
