After looking back at this week, I feel confident about moving forward with my action research project. Before this week, I was not sure about what my action research would be. However, after reading this weeks readings and discussing with my site supervisor, I feel that the Response-to-Intervention (RTI) program at my school will be an excellent topic to research and one that will benefit all stakeholders involved.
Sounds like we are thinking along the same lines for our action research! What grade levels will you be covering? I am torn if I just want to do my grade level (first grade) or if I should track students through several grades. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI will be working closely with our School Counselor, and our four RTI teachers to follow students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I feel this will give me a better opportunity to analyze the entire RTI program for all grade levels instead of just my individual grade level (7th grade).
DeleteHello! I went through our list of people's action research projects, and found that you and I are both working on RTI process. I see you are working with 6-8th, and I am working with K-5th. I would like to follow your blog as we work on our projects, and see what success you are having. I have already found a few good websites to get my campus going.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time, check my blog out...I don't have comments yet, and I think we need them in the near future :)!
Thanks!
